noprog: Internal program number
For each observing program, OHP assigned a number which permitted
to identify the associated scientific program for each exposure.
- Numbers below 100 were reserved to calibrations (bias, flat fields, Thorium, Tungsten). They were automatically assigned during each night.
- Number 100 was reserved for exposures with no scientific value, saturated
exposures or exposures with problems. This value was assigned by request
during on-line reduction.
- Numbers above 100 correspond to actual scientific programs. For programs
extending over several runs, the numbers were conserved over subsequent runs.
They were assigned by OHP by groups of 10, allowing finer identification by the
observer of particular sub-programs.
